Beth Costello- Holds a MA in Art from Long Island University and a BFA in Graphic Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Beth started Kaleidoscope knowing how art can be influential in helping with the challenges teens face today, the constant use of computers and cell phones, making friends and fitting in. Art allows us to discover who we are and allows us to share our own uniqueness. It helps bring our lives into perspective by gaining an understanding of ourselves, we need to celebrate that". These workshops gives teens the opportunity to experience different creative disciplines to learn skills and techniques to which they can then determine which is best for them so they can employ in their daily lives, at school, at college, and then as an adult. This is only one aspect of the class, creating art is fun and inspiring. Learning how to make an animation or cook, or paint can lead to career opportunities in your teens future. Giving them a head start helps them determine a direction they may want study in high school or college.
